Our client is currently looking for a dedicated and dynamic individual to undertake the role of managing one of our homes. You must have experience in this role and be able to demonstrate a track record of successfully achieving a good Ofsted rating.
Our client is a provider of supportive care in residential homes. The children we care for have a diverse range of behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties.
Due to their company’s expansion, we are looking to appoint a Residential Manager to assume overall responsibility for all aspects of the house, supported by the Assistant Manager. As the Registered Manager, you will ensure –
· The effective running of the home, including staff engagement, development and performance.
· Reporting to head of care.
· Ensure high standard of practise in line with internal and external expectations, standards and legislation of which you should have a sound knowledge
The post holder will have managerial experience and supporting young people and staff in a residential environment. Applicants should have a Level 3 in Residential Care and should be qualified or working towards their Level 5 in Leadership for Residential Care – Children and Young People’s Services.

Essential Requirements –
· Experience at management level within Children’s Residential – minimum 2 years
· Track record achieving Good/Outstanding Ofsted ratings
· Therapeutic background and understanding of trauma in children
· Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to complete)
· Knowledge of the Legislative Framework relevant to Children’s Homes
· Full UK driving license

Pay: £40,000.00-£46,000.00 per year
